Just a reminder to members, of the importance of updating your beneficiary information on the  LEOFF II Standard Insurance Policy you have through the King County Police Officers Guild. Should the unthinkable happen to you, your beneficiary may be entitled to anywhere from $1,000 to 60,000.   The last listed beneficiary receives the benefit, regardless of the current relationship.    Please email Kim@kcpog.com to obtain a form to update.   Once you receive the form, complete the highlighted portions of the form and RETURN TO THE GUILD OFFICE promptly.  This policy is not a County policy, therefore updating with the County does not include this benefit.     The Membership is also strongly encouraged to contact personnel in order to update your beneficiaries on any County policies.
