King County Police Officers Guild
In accordance with the Guild By-Laws, Article VI, the positions listed below will be up for election. The term of office shall be for two years and shall commence on the last Wednesday of February 2021. Vice-President is a paid position as described in the By-Laws. The position requires attendance at all meetings and an additional 20-30 hours each week to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Board members must be assigned to the work site which they seek to represent and are required to attend all announced meetings. Members interested in running for the below listed positions should review the Guild By-Laws or contact the Guild office for additional information. The current By-Laws are available on the Guild website (www.kcpog.com).
The Nomination period shall commence on November 25, 2020 and end on December 30, 2020. Original nomination forms must be received in person or electronically at the Guild office no later than 1600 hours on December 30, 2020.

November 25, 2020, 0800 hrs -to- December 30, 2020, 1600 hrs
Nomination period open
December 30, 2020, 1600 hrs -to- January 6, 2021, 1600 hrs
Nomination withdrawal period
January 6, 2021, 1600 hrs -to- January 13, 2021, 1600 hrs
New nomination period if someone is left unopposed by a withdrawal
January 14, 2021
Ballots mailed to members
(If a new nomination period is not required, ballots will be mailed out to members on January 8, 2020)
January 25, 2021, 1400 hrs
Ballots must be received at Guild office and will be counted by the Election Committee at 1400 hrs
